InfiniPath support?

I got an answer to the above question today:

No, mpiexec does not support InfiniPath. Executables compiled with mpicc 
from QLogic produce an error message like this:

node01: Not running from mpirun?.

(which is the same as when you run them directly.)

I asked on the QLogic support forum about the source code of their mpirun 
as well as about mpiexec support in general. The reply:

I suppose that opening a "support call" is something reserved for 
customers. I am merely a user in this context, and the issue is not really 
that pressing. In other words: "tough luck" for me, but I hope others 
might benefit from this information.
