I'll be happy to include it with the mpiexec source distro for you and
others. There is already a .spec file for RPM builders. Is your
tarball something I should include in source distributions? Where does
it go and how does it get "installed"?
Hopefully it can be hidden in a subdir of the mpiexec source distro.
Note there already is a "ChangeLog" and I would rather not have a
"Changelog" (note small 'l') beside it. The other files are equally not
interesting to anyone but a gentoo maintainer.
I would suggest you remove --with-pbs-src from the ebuild file---it's only
needed for ancient versions of pbs (<= 2.2.11). You may want to add
--with-default-comm=mpich-p4 if you know that your mpich install is
always going to be that version.
Also teach me how to update the files for new releases, perhaps just
with a patch to Makefile.in that would do the right thing. Regarding
email/name details, if you can find some way to tag yourself as the
gentoo maintainer but leave me as the author, that would be best. Or
fill me in on what it means to submit an ebuild to Gentoo if I seem to
be missing the point.
