running mpiexec

Dear OSC team
I still have problems, but I don't know why: any process launched with mpiexec is first added
to the pbs-queue, as I can see with qstat at once, but afterwards it shows the 'E' flag. The process
exits without any error or log file dumped (even with -v option).
My cluster (dual processors Pentium IV, RH7.3-2.4.18-4smp) has mpich-1.2.4 configured with
device=ch_p4, comm=shared;
mpiexec is 0.70 and now is configured with smp-size=2 and default-comm=mpich-p4 and PBS-2.3.16 is
patched (.../patch/pbs-2.3.12-mpiexec.diff.). Here you have the main related lines of the pbs-script
of a very simple test case for 2 processors are
#PBS -l nodes=2:ppn=1
#PBS -l ncpus=2
mpiexec -n 2 -allstdin -pernode -kill ./MYPROGRAM
I have tried several option combinations. Any suggestion will be welcome.
Thanks in advance
Javier
