regarding OpenPBS-2.3.16 (fwd)

Dear All

   i have OpenPBS-2.3.16 installed on my cluster. we have MPICH-1.2.4
configured for both ch_p4 device and shmem. can i install mpiexec-0.68.tar
file which i got it from the website.The website says that it is 
"All references to PBS on this page refer to "OpenPBS" available from
Veridian Information Solutions at the OpenPBS site. In particular, the
latest known version with which we're comfortable is 2.3.15"

so can i use mpiexec-0.68 for PBS-2.3.16 version.if possible can anyone
give me the steps how to configure this mpiexec for this PBS-2.3.16
version.
