It's not my patch. It's yours. Like I said, it's just
mpich-1.2.3-alpha-020118-mpiexec.diff out of the mpiexec distribution,
with minor changes to make it apply to mpich-1.2.4. It's entirely
possible that it doesn't "do" anything in the default case, but I wasn't
aware that this behaviour had changed between 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 anyway.
