mpiexec with PBSPro?

I just edited the index page at http://www.osc.edu/~pw/mpiexec/
to point out that we only know that it works with OpenPBS (aka classic
free PBS). Ditto in the README which will appear in the next release.
Thanks for pointing it out.
But it might work fine with PBSPro. If someone does figure this out,
please let us all know, and I'll update the documentation as such. The
patch is necessary only to do stdin/stdout/stderr redirection. Without
it jobs should run fine, but as if you'd put "-nostdin -nostdout" on the
command line. All output will appear in the normal <jobname>.o<num> file.

That could be the start of a nice little flamewar if you want to
repropose the question on the pbs-users at pbspro.com list. :) Some like
the extra features. Some think it's a good idea to encourage Veridian
to continue to work on the code. Others are bothered by the idea of
paying money for free software. At OSC we paid for it, but never saw any
reason to start using it on our linux clusters.
